Information and Counseling Center for the Elderly (IBA)

The IBA addresses all questions from older people. The questions often include the following topics:

  • Legal advice for seniors

  • Power of attorney and advance healthcare directive

  • Individual concerns and questions in old age

  • Loneliness or depressive feelings

The counseling services of the IBA are primarily aimed at older people as well as their relatives.

The advice is free and confidential.

Dementia Liechtenstein

The association informs and raises awareness among those affected, experts, authorities, and the public.

It advises and supports people who suffer from dementia and their relatives.

The association organizes training and continuing education and develops care concepts.

Foundation 50 plus

The Foundation 50 plus supports people on their way into the working process. The goal is to prepare people for a job.

In its own textile workshop or wood workshop, various skills can be acquired.

The foundation also offers various courses. For example, basics in computer skills or support in German.

And through the Liechtenstein Chamber of Commerce and Industry, there are courses to prepare for retirement.

Registration is done through the Employment Service or the Office for Social Services.

Alpine Club Liechtenstein

The Alpine Club organizes various events and mountain tours.

liechtenstein.bewegt

«liechtenstein.bewegt» is an initiative of the Liechtenstein government. It is implemented by the Office of Health.

«Movement is the most natural and effective way to invest in one's health,» is the basic idea of the initiative. Liechtenstein is getting active, and the online platform «bewegt.li» brings together «movement offers» and «movement seekers».

Seniors Association

The Liechtenstein Seniors Association offers various activities and sports for seniors. For example, a seniors choir, senior dance, mini-golf, or boccia.

These group offers for seniors aim to:

  • strengthen social cohesion.

Older people (with and without disabilities) and their accompanying person from all over the country are invited.

Seniors College

The Seniors College consists of weekly lectures. A lecture is a talk on a specific topic.

Retired individuals and interested parties can attend the lectures.
